Fibre Laser Cutting Service in Leeds

High-precision fibre laser cutting from our Leeds workshop. Clean, accurate cuts in stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel, straight from your DXF or SVG file with no tooling cost.

About This Service

Our fibre laser cutting service in Leeds handles sheet metal with tight tolerances and clean, square edges. Fibre lasers cut reflective metals that a CO2 laser cannot, which makes them the right choice for stainless steel brackets, aluminium panels, and mild steel fabrications. We cut directly from your DXF or SVG file, so there is no tooling to pay for and no minimum order quantity. Engraving and part marking can be combined with cutting in the same setup, which is useful for serial numbers, logos, and fold lines. We work with engineers, fabricators, product designers, and manufacturers across West Yorkshire and the wider UK.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between fibre and CO2 laser cutting?
Fibre lasers cut metal. Their shorter wavelength is absorbed well by reflective materials such as stainless steel and aluminium, which a CO2 laser struggles with. CO2 lasers suit non-metals such as acrylic, MDF, plywood, leather, and rubber. We offer both, so send us your material and we will put the job on the right machine.
Which metals can you cut?
Stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel. Contact us with your material, thickness, and quantity and we will confirm whether it is a good fit and what tolerance you can expect.
What file format do I need?
DXF is preferred for sheet metal work, and we also accept SVG. Cut lines should be on a separate layer or colour from any engrave lines. If you only have a STEP file or a PDF drawing, get in touch. We can usually work from those.
Do you offer bending and finishing as well as cutting?
Cutting and engraving are handled in-house. For folded or finished parts, contact us with your drawing and we will advise on what we can do and what we would need to arrange, so you get a realistic price and lead time up front.
How do I get a quote for fibre laser cutting in Leeds?
Send your DXF or SVG file along with material, thickness, and quantity via our contact page. We will confirm cut length, material cost, and lead time, usually within one business day.
